The PRIDE Project and the Pacific Archive of Digital Data for Learning
and Education (PADDLE)|
PADDLE has been developed as part of the PRIDE Project (Pacific Regional Initiatives for the Delivery of basic Education). The PRIDE Project seeks to enhance student learning in fifteen Pacific countries by strengthening the capacity of each Ministry of Education to plan and deliver quality basic education. The Project is implemented by the Institute of Education at the University of the South Pacific and is jointly funded by the European Union and the New Zealand Agency for International Development.
Copyright clearances have been obtained by the PRIDE Project to include publications in PADDLE. Copyright in source material is indicated in the document information section. Individuals may use, download, transmit, or print material from this site for purposes of research, education or non-profit activities, but not for commercial gain. Some publications may be downloaded, reprinted and further distributed free of charge, either in full or in part, by acknowledging the source. Please check the copyright of individual publications.

Open Source, Open Access
PADDLE uses open-source Greenstone software, designed specifically for digital libraries. Greenstone was developed with UNESCO support at the University of Waikato, New Zealand, and can be used on computers running Windows, Unix or Mac OS/X. Software and website development is by DL Consulting.
